Yes. Stephen and I are trying to gauge the market for one of these. I have looked at the cost of making it and some revised design feature (a slightly different lever and a different drive as well as an inside coverplate) and we have decided that a minimum of 50 has to be ordered to make it feasible. The buyer has to supply his/her own base-plate as the cost of making that is prohibitive. The good news is that a S2 back works on a S3/SP and those are more common. Unfortunately the S2/S4 would require major internal reworking to accept it.
Get in touch with Stephen regarding ordering one as I rather have him doing the "list" than me! He is also airborne at this very moment so he cant pass the buck back to me!
One thing is that these winders will be numbered 1 of 50,2 of 50 etc!
May is a busy month  for us, but I will start some of the final designs and discussion with my machinist friend and if we have enough orders, it is a go!

Below   picture    Tom's  2  Rapidwinders  for Nikon SP and S 3. -   He have made only 2  of them since  early May 2006  - one  of them is now  in Austria and the second one  "somewhere over the hills in Malibu" .
